Food Animal Practice Committee
The Food Animal Practice Committee supports food animal practitioners in matters pertaining to regulation, legislation, and continuing education. Their goal is to promote, protect, and ensure the success of food animal veterinary medicine, while concurrently monitoring the health and welfare of the Michigan livestock industry.
Leadership Development Committee
The Leadership Development Committee engages in activities that provide a consistent and diverse leadership ladder for the organization on a state and national level.
Legislative Advisory Committee
The Legislative Advisory Committee assists the MVMA Board of Directors in formulating and implementing MVMA legislative policy and MVMA positions on State regulatory proposals. They integrate the needs and concerns of members into their recommendations which are made in the overall best interest of veterinary medicine.
One Health Committee
One Health is the interrelationship of animal health, human/public health, and environmental health.
Veterinary Team & Workforce Committee
The Veterinary Team and Workforce Committee works on ways to better serve valued members of the veterinary community. This committee also helps to develop programs and educational tools for non-DVM veterinary staff.
